Egret Colony at Main Channel, s'Albufera. The different species of egrets and herons have their own breeding plumage. In Little egrets, the cere (naked parts between eye and bill) turn bluish or purple, and a lose plum of a couple of feathers grow from the back of the head while the longer feathers on the backside take on a slight goldbrown tone.
