Johan, kaptenen på Aquila berättade att fisknät är ett stort problem för havssulan. De använder gärna nätrester till sina bon. Ibland fastnar nätresterna i näbben, vilket kan leda till att sulan svälter ihjäl. Johan, captain of the boat Aquila, told us that fishing nets are a major problem to the Gannets. They will happily include bits of netting in their nests. Sometimes bits of netting gets caught in the beak of the gannet, which could cause it to starve to death, being unable to eat.
